Raised in Teaneck, NJ, Rav Michael Susman is an alumnus of Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavne and a graduate and Musmach of Yeshiva University and RIETS. He has been involved in Women’s education ever since having the zechut to mentor with Mrs. Chaya Newman as a young teacher at Bruriah High School. As the second longest tenured faculty member at the Midrasha, Rav Susman gets tremendous nachas from meeting bogrot from years past and greeting second generation students whose mothers were past students.
Rav Susman lives in Maale Adumim with his wife Sheryl, and they are the proud parents of six children who live all over Israel, and prouder grandparents to a gaggle of grandchildren.
